About Me
I'm a happily single mama to a super-sweet girl-turned-adult, who we refer to as "little one" (or "LO" for short), an amazing heart warrior teenaged son, Chase, an active 12yo son who we'll refer to here as E, a sweet & smart little fella known as "Squish" and my littlest babe, 5yo W.
My son Chase was born on Oct. 26, 2009 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). He had his Norwood surgery on November 2, 2009 at 7 days old, and his Bi-Directional Glenn surgery on March 3, 2010 at 4 1/2 months old. His third heart surgery, the Fontan, took place on Friday, May 9, 2014 when he was 4 1/2 years old. He is a little miracle and my Rock Star! God is so good!
I am a single mom with a full-time job in eCommerce/Experience Design, which I love. Here I've shared lots of parenting, congenital heart defect awareness, and my love of cooking, baking and recipe sharing, as I love to spend time in the kitchen!
